JESSICA RIJKERS

Jessica Rijkers is a Fashion and Textile designer with a specialisation in Branding. And a Master in Textile Design from the Swedish School of Textiles in Borås, Sweden.

Jessica wants to reframe the way we look at textiles by modifying production methods, like using a sticker to imitate screen printing without the water waste and replacing conventional ingredients, e.g. cotton, wool, synthetic fibres with alternatives such as bioplastic and material sourced from a waste streams.

A clean and modernist approach is her signature in terms of design and is combined with sustainable details through which she strengthens the identity of materials, re-empowering textiles.
